21 Dec Project Profile

As Northern Virginia painting contractors, we enjoy profiling projects on our blog because it offers a “before and after” glimpse of other homes we’ve worked on. If you regularly follow our blog, you’ll note that the houses are diverse in size and style and projects are different in scope. Here’s a recent project we did in Leesburg.
Paint can go a long way toward transforming a home which is why so many of our projects are to re-paint before a move in. Someone buys a house and, understandably, wants to personalize it. That was the case with a couple who’d recently moved to Leesburg from Chicago. They were genuinely lovely people and working with them was very easy.
Here’s what we did on their project:
Foyer – walls, ceiling
Dining room – walls (top half), ceiling
Family room – walls, ceiling
Kitchen – walls, ceiling
Morning room – walls, ceiling
Stairwell up – walls, ceiling
Upstairs hallway – walls, ceiling
Front bedroom/bathroom 1 – walls
Front bedroom/bathroom 2 – walls
Lower level bedroom/bathroom – walls, ceiling
Lower level powder room – walls, ceiling
Lower level powder room – prime the walls before painting
It took us six days and five painters to complete this straightforward but sizable project in their beautiful home. We painted the dining room a darker color, but the rest of the house went lighter. We updated the look of the bedrooms with light shades of gray.
If you’d like us to look at your next project, please contact us. Keep in mind that we do more than just paint! We can remove or add trim molding, make minor wall and sheetrock repairs, and power wash the exteriors of your home.
