Paint-It-ForwardPaint It Forward

Paint-It-Forward was started in 2005 by Josh Abramson, owner of ALLBRiGHT Painting in the Los Angeles area, as a way to give back to his local community. Since completing their first Paint-It-Forward event over 10 years ago, and now with other painting contractors joining the movement, the combined efforts over the years have reached a goal of over $1,000,000 worth of free painting services and materials delivered to deserving families and nonprofits.

Home Works Painting is proud to be a part of this powerful movement. In the Winter of 2016, we hosted our first annual event where we donated $5,000 worth of free painting services to Adapt Clubhouse in Alexandria. Please visit our Paint-It-Forward webpage for more details and upcoming events!

As a previous member of Home Services Solutions Group (HSSG), we worked with Operation Home Front to remodel a basement for a military family in Alexandria. We repaired drywall, painted the entire basement, and built an entertainment center.

American Cancer Societyacs_logo

As a cancer survivor, I’m grateful for the research and breakthrough treatments that the doctors have discovered in order for my family to still be together and for me, over five years later, to be in remission.

That is why I participate in Relay For Life. The American Cancer Society Relay for Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day, there will be a cure for all cancers.

If you would like more information about American Cancer Society Relay for Life visit their homepage. With your help, we are not just fighting one type of cancer–we are fighting for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community.

Shelter House

shelterhouse-logoShelter House provides temporary emergency housing and supportive services to homeless families in order to enable them to transition into permanent housing and a stable family life. Home Works Painting, LLC is proud to provide painting for these homes so a family can experience a clean, warm home environment to help them feel more comfortable during this challenging time in their lives.

Brain Injury Services Pediatric ProgramLOGO

Home Works Painting has partnered with Brain Injury Services Pediatric Program and was happy to make a donation to their program. The Brain Injury Services Pediatric Program is a non-profit organization that serves children who have survived a brain injury and their families. Some of their clients have experienced traumatic, non accidental injuries while others have survived strokes and Arteriovenous Malformation bleeds. Up to 97% of donations they receive directly benefit their patients/families. They support clients in every aspect of their lives – including educational, medical, recreation, family, mental health, and more.

We gladly donated 5% of our sales from November 17th- December 4, 2015. We are excited to stay in partnership with this wonderful organization. If you would like to be involved with BIS or have any questions, please contact our Office Manager, Charlotte Wright. She is a member of the PALS program (Providing a Link for Survivors) and would be happy to connect you with the right people!
